«Where the waters born»

The ancient Mayans baptized this wonderful place with the name of Xel-Há, which in the Mayan language means «Where the water is born».

Because of its privileged position, in pre-Hispanic times, Xel-Há served as a port of refuge, a commercial center, a pilgrimage point and a refuge for navigators, as well as representing a food reserve during bad weather.

With more than 20 activities, buffets, Cueva Maya, Bahía de los Caprichos, Piedra del Valor, Floating Bridge and Trepachanga.

The cenotes, lagoons, caves and water zip lines, the coves, the tranquil river full of multicolored fish, the leafy mangroves and the tropical rainforest dotted with orchids will give you the feeling of discovering Paradise.
